Hi Natasha,
My name is Johann Swart & I'm a member of the DA in Wellington in the Western Cape. Been thinking for awhile to write to you about the rot that set in during the Zuma Era.
Daily we read in the news papers & media about all the money stolen & nobody gets convicted. Just read now on News 24 about all the billions lost at Transnet with the loco contracts. The parlimentary committee of which you are a member has been through Eskom. Transnet, SAA, Estina project, Sassa, SAPS/Police Commssioner & all the other Gupta things that came out of the woods during all the investigations.
Question number 1 is how come some of the persons responsible for all the rot just ignores the call to answer to the committee & get's away with it. Talking about the chair person of SAA. She just showed everybody the middle finger & nothing seems to be done about it? There is also the assumption that if they resign from their posts nothing will happen to them.
Look at he court findings re the Estina project. The Guptas once again gained the upperhand with the court agreeing with them & all the property forfuted had to be given back to them. What is going to happen to their plane parked at Lanseria? Will they fly away with it again like with everything else?
Question number twqo is will all these people resigning left, right & centre ever be brought to book through the lame NPA ? Will they be investigated by the Hawks who is lust as lame? What other powers has the parlimentary committee got to ensure that all the findings will be investigated & followed up with the necessary judicial procedures?
Regards,
Johann
