What you said in your speech in Moscow lately is precious and of great importance. Here in Western Europe a militant spirit dominates the minds and forbids any suggestion of starting talks between Russia and Ukraine. You encourage me to try within the circles I live in, to try to open the minds for serious talks between the countries in war. South Africa is an ideal mediator to create confidence, to let the adversaries speak about their motives and sentiments. Supplying more and more weapons is not the answer to this destructive situation.
