Greetings honourable deputy minister.
one hopes that this message will find you well and in good health. As a fellow South African and as a person who still falls within the youth brackets, I believe that one has a responsibility to play an active role in finding solutions to problems facing the youth and the country as a whole.
The main problems affecting us as the youth are unemployment, crime, drug abuse and lastly early age pregnancy from point of view the only cure there is to the above mentioned ills, requires us as a country to look no further than education and the department of sport and recreation/Arts and culture.
EDUCATION
Good education system needs not only to ensure that the process of learning and teaching is on-going but has to firstly identify talent, shape it and lastly develop it,once we are able to
do this we would not have kept our kids of the street but they would be occupied with that which they passionate about.
the second phase require getting unemployed sport science and art graduate on board, If the government could offer them a stipend in exchange they take control of sports and in schools across the country and that would help decrease gangsterism in schools and job opportunities would be created.
All these could be a success if they could be corporation between the department of ART AND CULTURE/SPORT AND RECREATION AND the DEPARTMENT OF BASIC EDUCATION.
this seek to request a platform or an opportunity to come make a presentation of this proposal and we are a group of both young male and females who believe in this vision and who can volunteer their expertise only if there is some support from the governmeny
