It gives me a great pleasure to write you this very important message. I would like to secure your intervention on a very pressing matter that I am facing. The Ministry of Tourism has introduced a Tourism Equity Fund which is critical to the funding of my hotel business. In March 2021 I submitted my application for Tourism Equity Funding and I was not successful because something strange happened with this fund. It was cancelled and was re - introduced in 2023. I re - submitted my application for funding with a total capital outlay of R 30, 000, 000.00. I have been dealing with SEFA for my application. SEFA has decided not to respond to my application. Every email that I send to SEFA is not responded to. It is a complete shut down. I don't know why. I am an old man now and perhaps this is the reason why SEFA is not responding to my application. But then SEFA has its reasons which are not communicated to me. Could you please find out what is wrong between me and SEFA? I would appreciate your timely intervention in this matter. If there is any further information which you might need from me, please let me know.
