Good Day,
It is with a feeling of disappointment that I write this message and urgently
request that Dr Schreiber gets to read this message here after visitng the
DHA's office four times, tried emails to ministerial, your own spokes person, all
absolutely ignored and never answered, your telephone number given on the web
site is rejected as a wrong number, so behind a wall of technology, it is hard to
contact you.
On September 25th, I decided to renew my passport and as my wife's passport
was nearing the end of its valid period, although still valid, we decided to also
renew her's as well, and in accordance with what we have read from statements
by the minister, we decided to then at the same time, to apply for the new ID
card.
So we went through the full morning excercise of waiting to apply and pay for the passports.
After four weeks, we had to revisit the DHA office to have all our biometric information recaptured as we received SMS's saying they had lost the information, and after that, after every two weeks or so, we have had to go back no less than four times to show them that we have paid for my wife's application after receiving SMS's every time saying that they threaten to cancel the application.
On Saturday, December 20th, we received our 5th SMS saying my wife's application has been cancelled due to unresponsiveness from the appliicant and there will be no refund
Please sir, your messages of improvement at the Somerset West DHA office can now only be seen as fake news.
