I am writing to you today with a heavy heart and a deep sense of disappointment regarding an incident in which I was assaulted by a security officer, and the subsequent failure of the police to open a case immediately, along with various delaying tactics employed in the process.

On 02 November 2020, I found myself in a situation where I was subjected to physical assault by a security officer. What makes this situation even more distressing is the fact that this assault occurred in the presence of a police officer. The police officer, who was on the scene, informed me that they had a partnership with Rhino Security company. Despite this partnership, I was left in a vulnerable position as I received no assistance or intervention from the police officer present.

My first instinct was to report this incident and seek justice through the legal system. However, my efforts in this regard have been met with frustration and disappointment. The police response has been slow, and it appears that various delaying tactics are being used to deter me from pursuing justice.

I would like to highlight the importance of upholding the rule of law and ensuring that all citizens, regardless of their circumstances, are treated fairly and with respect by law enforcement agencies. It is disheartening to think that such incidents can occur in the presence of police officers, and the lack of immediate action is deeply concerning.

I kindly request your urgent intervention in this matter. I believe that it is essential to address this issue promptly, investigate the conduct of the involved officers, and ensure that justice is served. I hope that your office can expedite the process and provide the necessary guidance to the relevant authorities to take appropriate action.
