I am a US citizen married to a South African. We recently moved back to South Africa with our two small children. I applied for a change of status visa (spousal TRV) in September 2025 via VFS. Despite being told the process would take 8-12 weeks, I am still awaiting an answer, and am left unable to legally leave (and return) to South Africa to see my father in the US who is very unwell. I have been unable to speak with anyone on the number provided, nor have I received an answer to my emails.
