Dear Mr Nzuza
I hope this email finds you well.
I write to you with a heavy heart, as I am at a loss for where to turn or whom to ask for help anymore. It has been over ten years of attempting to secure my citizenship, with no success. I am urgently seeking your intervention in assisting me with my application, which has been rejected multiple times for the same reason—allegedly spending more than 90 days out of the country. However, both my own calculations and those of the Home Affairs officials assisting with my application do not support this reason for the most recent rejection.
Please, Ntate, I humbly plead for your assistance. I completed my high school and tertiary education in South Africa, and I am currently working here. Since the passing of my parents, it has been incredibly challenging and emotionally exhausting to navigate this process alone without any support.
I have attached most of the communication I have had via email, including the last rejection letter. The officials at the Bloemfontein Home Affairs office have done their best to assist me, even suggesting that I seek legal assistance. However, lawyers have been unable to help as they believe I need to exhaust all available avenues for assistance first.
I am humbly begging for your help in this matter.
Thank you for your time and understanding.
Warm regards,
