Blyvoor Gold has been issued a mining license without following requirements of the mining charter. Several letters have been written to DMR for clarity and to date no action has been taken. Every time the community writes to DMR, the company uses the apartheid strategy of turning black man on black man to deviate the focus of the community. All big companies contracted to the mine our 100% white owned and belong to Directors of the Mine.
Blyvoor community is forced to live in conditions that degrades any human-being yet local government is unable to intervene siding that the area is private though it was liquidated in 2013. DMR is aware of the challenges faced by the community yet it issued out a mining license without auditing how authentic were the paper work they received from Blyvoor Gold. Is illegal mining legal when it is done by white masters?
What happened to shared wealth and BBBEE regulation?
Is DMR not a custodian of these regulations that are meant to empower a black child?
Must the community march bare to demonstrate how DMR has stripped it naked to please the white masters who continue to disadvantage black communities?
Must we still sing "Senzeni Na" in 2020?
What must this community do, to get DMR and Blyvoor Gold to do right?
Blyvoor Gold has used and abused this community long in enough in the hands of DMR, we appealing to this you to bring change and restore our dignity and pride.
