"Language is the foundation of civilization,it is the glue that binds and holds people together. It is the first weapon drawn in a conflict" - Louise Banks

Dear honorable minister Mrs. Angie Motshekga, my name is Chulumanco Bungane a concerned citizen of the Republic of South Africa. I write this email from a place of distress as we see our country go up turmoil and range with Africans going up against other fellow Africans in these Xenophobic attacks. This caused a great disturbance within me, as a result, I turned to God and the ancestors to ask what could be a solution for these atrocities we are seeing in this continent, so that they may never occur again. Alas, I wished the solution would be easy and faster, but as it is not the case. I received the answer in my dreams. I was instructed to contact you and tell that in the next two years you must introduce two languages in the public school curriculum. The first one must be a South African indigenous language(whether it be Zulu,Sotho, Xhosa or whichever the people choose) that is made a national language such that all of the tribes in South Africa can commnunicate in and have it as a common language other than English. With the second one, you must meet with other ministers of education of all other Africans countries and decide which African language( it can be Swahili,Igbo, Zulu or what ever people choose) that you all will take to your respective countries to be taught at schools. This language will help Africans unite, it will help such that when Africans travel to any country within the continent, they will not struggle. This will help business people also. Imagine from South Africa to Egypt ,from Ghana to Khenya etc we will be speaking one tongue. This is coming from above. please try by all means to make it happen.
