Can you my Leaders interfere on what's happening in the Correctional Services regarding 2020/2021 Learnship intake. Our brothers and sisters who went for training on the above said period, completed their training through this difficult time of COVID 19 and were promised to be absorbed by the department and they dedicated themselves to the department and completed their training only to find out that they won't be permanently employed but the department would rather hire SANDF Reservists. This has shattered dreams and hopes of this young fighters and left them indispair. We should consider the fact that most of this fighters left their previous jobs and are breadwinners. How do we do away with poverty and crime when our State Entities act so carelessly especially with this young lions?
I beg that this matter be treated with utmost urgency.
