Good day comrade. I would like to bring to your attention the corruption that happens in my workplace which is Western Cape Library Service (Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport). For years there has been corruption and fraud happening with regards to false Performance Reviews (work evidence included) and factitious working hours. I am a Shop Steward and I have tried to fight these issues with my other comrades, but management keep on throwing red tape and break down the support we had of fellow colleagues. They keep on finding ways to hide the truth from reaching outside. but it is time to expose the truth. There is also the act of Nepotism where a son was employed to work under his mother's guidance and the Head of Department was informed thereof. They then proceeded to cover it up by moving her son into the care of her friend who is her supervisor which means the friend is her and her son's supervisor. Nepotism is an act of dismissal. We have proof and witnesses of these allegations.
