I applied for my daughter’s unabridged birth certificate on the 15th October 2020. Application number 15401467362.

Your website states that the waiting time is 3 – 6 weeks. It is now 8 months post the submission of the application and I have still not received her unabridged birth certificate. Any attempts to contact your Head Office in Pretoria are fruitless. The telephone does not even ring.

Phoning the hotline is similarly an exercise in frustration as you listen to computer generated music which I am certain is designed to irritate one to the point of hanging up.



Please can assist me with this application, we need her unabridged birth certificate for a visa application.
