Good day Mr Minister
I am a concerned Parent writing to you this letter.I have a daugter studying at the university of johannesburg doing project management. .Last year 2019 she completed her studies,but as the parent could not pay her studies in full. This year 2020 she is expected to continue with her course and she received a bursary to pay for her 2020 fees. As a parent i lost my job and got another in 2019 that pays a little than what i used to earn. i can no longer afford to pay for her studies but with the little that i was depositing to the account of the varsity at the end of the year it was not enough to meet the registration of 2020. Now with a bursary to continue her studies, she is not allowed to register until the owing amount is all paid. I went to school to try and speak to the finance department but they are asking for 50% of the owed amount and i dont have. I am worried that the bursary will expire. PLEASE HELP.
