I was wondering if you would be able to assist me with the following matter.
I was retrenched at the end of April due to operational requirements of the company due to the Corona virus.
I received 1 payment from Ters before I was retrenched, I applied for my retrenchment benefit from the Uif during the month of May.
It is now the end of July and still have not received 1 payment.
After hundreds of emails and standing in the long queues at the labour department all for them tell me I am still registered on the TERS database so they cannot process my retrenchment claim.
I have been sending them hundreds of emails to ask them to remove me from the TERS database as a matter of urgency, but still absolutely nothing.
I really don't know what to do or say anymore.
We are really desperate for this money.
Your help in this regard would be hugely appreciated as I just don't know where else to turn.
