Dear Hon. Nxesi,
I don't write with good news. I have written many complaints in the department however they remain unheard. I am writting you this letter to hopefully get some sort of assistance with the matter at hand. I like many others have not recieved their UIF payments. I have been up and down to the Department of Labour in Randburg, but yet to recieve payment on my UIF claims.
Everytime I go there they're either offline, power cut or the system has been too slow in assisting my queries. I am at my dying depth with the people there and don't believe they truly want to assist.
This is not a grant. This is rightfully our money and needs to be treated as such but the asssitance I have recieved from the department in Randburg has been anything but that. I have been given the run around ever since March 2020. I was promised a payout within 14 days which never happened. My ufiling shows that the money has been paid out but I have recieved nothing in my account. This has led me to question the departments integrity and well intention in paying out my claim. I am now at my wits end on this matter and need immediate action to be taken.
Where is my money? Was it taken? Is there corruption? What is happening to our UIF payments. Why is the claims process so slow? If the system you are using is troubling then why not change or upgrade the system for ease and better customer service?
As I stated previously in this letter. You are my last resort. I have written and called numerous times and physically visited the branch (whilst heavily pregnant) on numerous occassions. I am sure I am not the only one facing this issue. So something drastic needs to be done.
Regards
