Dear Minister Thembelani Waltermade Nxesi

Sir, it is with a heavy heart that I am writing this message to you. I am on pension since 31 December 2020. I have applied for my UIF benefits online in January 2021. I did not see any link to attach any documents. Only in August 2021 I was informed that there are no documents attached to the application. The documents were submitted as was requested at that time. In fact, the documents were submitted three times as it could not been found. Every time I phone the contact centre, there are various excuses/reasons for not paying my claim. I have contacted the contact centre on 20 April 2022 and was informed that my claim is in for assessment. I phone the contact centre once a week and that is the answer I still get "YOUR CLAIM IS IN FOR ASSESSMENT". Is three months acceptable to assess a claim? What must I do to get my claim paid out?
