I am trying to get an unabridged birth certificate for my daughter, I made the first application on 20 October 2024 in Humansdorp. When I went back to follow up they told me that I was required to submit additional information as no records were found. (This even though she has a birth certificate, an ID card, a passport and a driver's license.) I submitted additional information but when I phoned to follow up I was told that the Department had not received these and that I should ask for a tracking number at Humansdorp. I did so but was told that the person who processed these additional forms was on leave and that only she could access the tracking number. I then submitted a second set of the additional forms. the tracking number . I am desperately trying to follow up as this application is urgent.

I have tried phoning every contact number for this department as well as emailing dha and the ministerial email but to no avail
