It is appalling to see officers abuse their authority. An officer confiscated my husband's drivers license and refused to give it back to him. The officer refused to give up his details when asked, and his colleagues alongside him decided to find the situation quite amusing. My husband decided to drive away and report the situation at the nearest police station. When going to metro offices, head of that department said that the officer didn't complete the fine and never left the drivers license, so I understand that the officer took it home with him as he had finished his shift by then. I don't see how that can possibly be legal. I believe that the DA unlike others will help restore order where there's none. I trust that this officer will be sanctioned accordingly and let him be an example to all those who intends to use their authority, not to protect, but to entertain themselves.
