Good Day Mam,

I hope this finds you well, my name is Hlanga Jordan, I'm a political science student at the University of the Western Cape. I'm writing this to you as myself and a few other students at the university are on the TRC bursary through the Justice Department which is lead by Ngwankho Ramphadi. Last year our fees were supposed to be paid through Nsfas and our accounts controlled by Thandiswa Klass who's based at the Cape Town office. We can't register this year because there was a payment that was not made to the university by NSFAS. The university can not get ahold of Thandiswa as shes neer in or out of her office. since January there has been emails sent to her and phone calls made but to no answer. We as students have gone to the office and we did not even find her. We are told that they need to pay R14000.00 which was proised as part of the bursary amount granted but now we can not continue with our studies as we owe the university and can not register. I'm writing this to you Minister asking for help as we do not want to involve the SRC as it will turn into a political matter and force strikes which is something we dont want and this is the last step before we approach the media as we are asking for help so we can continue with our studies.
