To whom it may concern
I am Isaac Williams, 19 years of age. Born and raised in the Cape Flats and currently doing my last year of school while living in Rocklands with my siblings at the moment. I was encouraged to write this message as someone who is deeply interested in making a change in my community and country at a larger scale. Everyday I witness the struggles and the lack of opportunities which for long has affected our youth and deprived us of achieving things we always dreamt of doing and in the worst case some of us aren't even allowed to dream or know what it is to dream. I do not know how next year will be for me after I finish school, I just know that in the future I will do whatever it takes to contribute to my community, to my people (all south Africans) and to prove that we are worth more than what the media or the general population portrays. I want to work in politics as it has always been a passion of mine, so much so that one day i vow to be the first coloured president my country has ever seen but regardless of racial identifications, i most importantly see myself as african and when I have the power, I will do everything to make Africa and South Africa strive again. My love for this country is like a son's love for his mother, so it is my dream to ensure the wellness and prosperity of every South African, the homeless, the drug abused individuals, those who have underwent severe physical and mental trauma, the poor, the youth and the elderly, those individuals who are ill and can't afford proper health care, all of the children who can't have proper education and the large amounts of unemployment, this should be the priority of every South African leader in power. Help me start this journey.
