Urgent and Emotional Request for Assistance – Adoption Registration Documents
Good day, Mr Gungubele
My name is Suzette. I am originally from Graaff-Reinet but am currently in Port Elizabeth.
I am reaching out to you with an urgent and heartfelt request for assistance regarding our daughter’s adoption registration.
We started this adoption process approximately three years ago, and it has been a very long and difficult journey for our family. Our adoption case finally went to court on 25 July 2026, and we were so relieved that we had reached this important stage after waiting for so long.
We have now been informed that the adoption documents are with National in Pretoria. We have already submitted all the required paperwork, and we understand that the process needs to be followed through the proper channels. However, we are becoming extremely worried because we are now under significant time pressure.
My husband is currently working in Australia, and our greatest hope is to be able to start our immigration process so that our family can finally be together again. Unfortunately, there are age restrictions that may affect our immigration application, and every further delay makes us more anxious that we may lose the opportunity to proceed.
After waiting for three years to get to this point, it is incredibly difficult for us to be so close to having everything we need, but still unable to start the immigration process because we are waiting for the final adoption documents.
MR Gungubele I am sincerely asking if there is any way you could please assist us by following up with National or helping us find out exactly where the documents are in the process. If there is anything you can do to help speed up or facilitate the process, it would mean more to our family than I can properly express.
We are not trying to bypass any procedures. We are simply asking for assistance because we are genuinely worried about the effect that further delays could have on our family and our immigration application.
Our greatest wish is to be reunited with my husband and to give our child the opportunity to be with her family in Australia. After everything we have been through over the past three years, we are desperately hoping that this final part of the process can be completed as soon as possible.
I would be extremely grateful for any assistance, guidance, or intervention you may be able to provide.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read our situation and for anything you may be able to do to help us.
Kind regards,
Suzette
Would you like the next version to be even more emotional, or stronger and more official for National/officials?
