Since 2013 I have been struggling to Apply for an Identity document for my Daughter Megan Sanders. Everytime we went to Home Affairs they had a different story. First they said that the last 3 numbers on her Birth Certificate must be Unblocked, then they said that they can't find her on their system. Then Home Affairs said it shows on their system she doesn't have a Father and so my Late Husband had to got to the Police station for an Affadavit to prove he is her Father. My daughter did her Matric exam with her application form that she got when she applied for an ID! It Is also the same way she got a job! She and her dad when back to Home Affairs and then they said someone else is using her Identity number and that that is Identity Theft, but they did nothing to help her and that the problem must be solved at their Head Office in Pretoria! Nothing has been done about it until it to this day! Me and her went January of this year back to Home Affairs and they still said that it shows on their system that she hasn't got a Father! My Late Husband even contacted the PE Express News Paper and they where going to come and interview my daughter, but my husband then passed away. I did then contact a lady from the PE Express and did send her all the proof of documents that we had and yet also no help came from that. We also had a guy from the DA that was going to help us, but nothing also came from him no help nothing! My Daughter turned 27 this year and she is stuck without an Identity document. She doesn't have a bank account she is using her sister's. She can't apply for no other jobs, she can't travel anywhere and can't even get married! I would appreciate it so much if u can help my daughter to get an IDENTITY DOCUMENT!
