Dear Pakishe Aaron Motsoaledi

My name is sakeena Harris,I was at home affairs in Cape Town CBD on the 9/03/2023.

I arrived and stood in the queue since 6:26am but only to be told that 9:12am that we all can leave as it's a strike and they will not be helping anyone. My heart went out to all the old people in the queue.
Everyone was wet and some people started crying, after standing for 3 hours in the cold and rain and I wanted answers Asap.
I asked the security guard can I speak to the branch Manger please he was so rude and was told to go speak to the man in charge of the strike.
I called home affairs in Cape Town CBD on the 8/03/2023 and was told they will be open as per normal.

Due to this mismanagement I've been reject for a job as the employer called home affairs and was told they are open and they are not striking
