I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart to bring to your attention the rampant racism and discrimination that black students endure at Springs Secondary School. Despite the progress made since apartheid, it is clear that the legacy of racial injustice still haunts our educational institutions.

The principal's actions towards black students are appalling and must be addressed. One instance that stands out is when he chased a student home simply because they had a big Afro. This act of racial profiling is utterly unacceptable and demonstrates the principal's bias against black students.

Furthermore, I experienced firsthand the principal's abuse of power when he publicly shamed me for having my zipper open. This invasion of privacy and potential sexual assault left me feeling violated and degraded.
