Dear Aaron Motsoaledi
Chemical could enter the foodstuff in one of the following ways:
1 chemical introduced into the foodstuff prior to being shipped.
2. Foodstuff manufactured in the same area where chemicals are stored.
3. Chemicals used to kill rats and then rats climb onto foodstuff while leaving some of the chemical in the foodstuff.
4. Chemical used to kill rats in spaza shops and then wind blows chemical onto foodstuff packages. Children buy the packages of snacks, open the packages leaving a trace of chemical on their hands then put the foodstuff on their mouths and ingest the snacks with the trace of chemical. Sell by date does not create poison, products just loses its quality.
Children must never buy snacks from spaza shops. Stay Alive!
