Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this message finds you well.
My name is Miranda Rawe, and I am a young South African citizen with a strong interest in politics, governance, and public service. I have always admired the importance of the State of the Nation Address as a key moment in our democracy, where the President outlines the country’s priorities and direction.
I am writing to kindly enquire whether it would be possible to attend the upcoming State of the Nation Address in Parliament, Cape Town, either through an invitation or any public participation opportunity available.
Attending SONA would be a meaningful experience for me as an aspiring future leader who is passionate about civic engagement and understanding the work of Parliament more closely.
I would greatly appreciate any guidance on the process of obtaining access, or whether there are alternative arrangements for members of the public to participate or observe.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.
