I trust that you are well.

I am writing to you on behalf of my counterparts at the Black Sea Majorettes Team.

We have a drum majorette team of young girls, primary and high school, who we are seeking sponsorship of any kind. Currently based in Durban South, Wentworth community. Our young ladies participate at provincial and national level. Presently our young ladies are not required to pay any sort of fees due to disadvantaged back rounds, our team is funded by coaches, parents and any individual who is in a position to assist so that we can have the necessary equipment to perform, which is as with any sport costly. We desperately seek aid to continue to keep our team going and maintained best as possible.

I have personally sought assistance from our ward leader, however, have been advised to contact small businesses within our district, which has also been done but no response is received.

As an Ex Drum Majorette, single mum with two daughters within the team trying to guide them in the right direction to do something positive without any financial gain and a sport that is so underfunded as well as under recognized despite being a registered sporting code under SACOC, We humbly request assistance.
