Dear Honorable Minister Gayton McKenzie
My name is Kay-Lee , and I am the proud mother of Kayden , a Grade * learner who has recently been selected—out of more than 3,000 children—to go on an international rugby tour. I am reaching out to you with great hope and humility to ask for any form of financial assistance or sponsorship that could help make this dream come true for my son.
Kayden is extremely passionate about rugby. It’s more than just a sport to him—it’s part of who he is. He is a dedicated young player, a good boy with a big heart, and a loving big brother to his two younger sisters. His role model is his older cousin, who has toured to Dubai and Italy for rugby and is currently in matric at Paul Roos . Kayden wants to follow in his footsteps, not just in rugby, but in character and discipline too.
My husband and I are both employed, but the costs for this tour, especially the local flights and related expenses, are beyond our budget. We are doing everything we can, but we simply cannot afford the full amount in time. This opportunity means everything to Kayden, and I don’t want to see him miss it because of financial constraints.
If there is any way your office can assist, or if you could kindly point us in the direction of a program or organization that supports young sports talent, we would be incredibly grateful.
Thank you for your time, and for all you do to uplift sport in our country. I truly appreciate your consideration.
Warm regards,
Kay-Lee
