Greetings in the mighty name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Menner, it is with great concern that i dot this letter to you Sir. Dr. I'm a spiritual worker in the freestate, Kroonstad Correctional Center BIZZAH MAKHATE. I began my call to service last year February and i am great-full for this opportunity that have been given to partake in the reformation and spiritual transformation of our inmates.

In as much as we have a of passionate Spiritual Workers, who have been for years and years dedicated and committed to bringing this significant tranformation in the life of this inmates and of which in return this brings a sence of hope and security in our communities. Our Spiritual Workers are not earning well Sir. It was brought to my attention that there are SW's cant afford to by homes for their families, a car to take their loved ones to church or school and a decent standard of living that equates to the services that they render in this Correctional Centers.

With all due respect Dr, how is it that this individuals who risk their lives everyday living their families, walking on foot some taking taxis to go to work are stil not considered permanent members of the system. To this date how is it that Spiritual Workers are taken as casual workers. This is quiet confusing and absolutely degrading especialy knowing quiet clealry that THE SAME SPIRITUAL WORKERS PLAY SUCH A HUGE, PIVOTAL ROLE IN RESTORATIVE JUSTICE.

Sir please, with great humility and respect to you Sir. Let the department come with some kind of plan to really install a little bit of dignity and pride into the lives of this poor Pastors and Spiritual Workers.

Recently we've had a situation where our sessions have been cut from 27 sessions to 23. This has brought more pressure on our families and our livelihood in this tough economy.
