        Dear Deputy Minister Sibiya,
I trust this message finds you well.
Thank you for your continued efforts in addressing the pressing challenges of labour malpractice and business non-compliance throughout South Africa. Your leadership in this area is deeply appreciated.
Many businesses possess strong and viable business plans, yet often encounter challenges in execution and then they cfhoose to place at bay to an important factor of compliance. In our experience, this is frequently due to a lack of understanding of the implications of non-compliance and the long-term ramifications it has on their operations, sustainability, and return on investment.
At Powerpoint Lifestyles, we specialise in business development through human resources and talent management solutions. Our services include conducting compliance checks, verifying necessary documentation, and guiding businesses to align with labour laws and standards. We are able to ensure verifications and checks are conducted using biometric systems and systems that verify documentation. Through our interventions, we aim to assist business owners in becoming fully compliant and operationally sound which means sustainable businesses which boost the economy and can ensure the sustainability to maintain government resources.
Unfortunately, we have observed that some businesses hesitate to engage with firms like ours — whether due to perceptions around affordability ( especially due to our business locations being in Umhlanga, Centurion and East London) , we see constant reluctance to share internal business information, or biases linked to our status as a 100% Black-owned and female-led enterprise. Others, regrettably, take risks by resorting to informal or unethical practices rather than pursuing legitimate compliance support which we can provide.
We have also seen been following the effects of how the closure of even a single business — even for a day — can have ripple effects on the employment future of a businesses human capital and affecting our economic stability.
Hence, we believe there is an urgent need for a collaborative approach between the private sector and government to promote sustainable compliance and responsible business practices.
We would therefore like to formally submit a proposal outlining a strategic partnership aimed at driving business compliance, enhancing workforce development, and supporting economic resilience.
We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to share our proposal with your office and explore how our expertise can support the Department’s efforts to strengthen South Africa’s labour and business environment.
Thank you once again for your leadership and commitment to sustainable economic growth. We look forward to the possibility of contributing to this important national agenda.
Warm regards,
Samantha Ndawonde
