Congratulations once more in your role as a minister! May God grant you the strength you need to be successful to serve us.

I hereby write for you to please look into the matters of issuing smart card IDs ONLY to 'south African BORN citizens'. I appreciate the main citizens being prioritized but I've been a tax payer and exercise all rights as south Africans except that I can't vote. Its even unfortunate because I've actually since applied for citizenship in 2017 and the DHA has forever been 'verifying' my Permanent resident permit. I was advised to keep calling after 30 days but with no success as the phones don't even go through for over a year now.

I've lost my IDs before and they've been issued by the same DHA near me up until a year ago when I found out that non citizens -PR holders have their 'own' DHA offices now which happen to be to far off
I've ever imagined experiencing such level of discrimination

And when u get to that home affairs in carltonville - they identify you as a 'green book'. You get there and outside for over 30min until they call you in.
Its even worse that I had even naturalized citizens don't get these smart IDs

This is so unfair I'm not sure what's been achieved here than discrimination against people
