My wife had an appointment on 19th May at Home Affairs Tyger Valley to apply for a smart ID card. We were told it would take three to four weeks to issue and she would be advised by SMS when ready for collection. It is now approaching four months and no ID card. Staff at Tyger Valley are unable to give us any answers, emails to Home Affairs go unanswered or even acknowledged, phone calls to the call centre go unanswered. While you have made major strides in sorting out this department, it seems there is still a way to go in getting communication right, at this stage it is non existent. Assistance in resolving this issue would be appreciated.
