Dear Honourable Minister Mc Kenzie. My name is Simo Noubissi and I am the Operations Manager at the newly-formed Johannesburg Blind Football Association. Our operations are currently based at 11th Street and Forest Road, La Rochelle, and we play all our matches at the Paterson Park Multipurpose Centre in Norwood. In our third month of operation, we believe it is about time the Department of Sports, arts and Culture takes notice of our work. Not only are we creating employment; we are also creating opportunities for people living with visual impairments, with up to 60 players within our ranks. Our aim is to stretch across Gauteng, and then across South Africa, and we can only do so with your assistance. We are having our next league matches on the 30th of August, and we would like a representative from your department there to witness for themselves the magic of visually impaired football.
