I have a family living on my property in central Westville. The 2 sons grade 6 and 8 have recently relocated from western Cape and are not attending school as the local schools claim they are full. We have spoken to the local education department who suggests they attend school in Resevoir Hills which is too far away and will result in exorbitant transport costs. The local schools are within walking distance. The mother is a single parent trying to survive on a meagre salary and we suspect the local schools won't take them because paying school fees is a problem. What are they supposed to do, just sit at home for the year ?
