Good Morning Vincent,
Regarding Public Input on changing section 25 of the constitution on 04/8/2018
Despite arriving around 6.30 am on Saturday 4th August 2018 and being number one in the Queue I was sidelined completely . I was given the number one sticker and went to sit at the front of the Hall. I was told that the upturned chairs would be used for the people giving input. Alas, you did not choose people according to the numbers that they were given, going directly against what had been told at the front door. You personally then chose who was to speak to a committee of MPs largely derived from the EFF. I was never chosen to speak and by 1 pm [almost 6 hours after arriving] I had to leave to direct workers in what to do. You falsely told everyone that they would all get a chance to speak but simple mathematics dictated that that was impossible . You also, after saying only the audience would have a chance to speak, allowed the EFF MPs to make comment after they had introduced themselves. In summary the public input was a farce and you need to know that.
