Good day Minister Dina Pule

My name is Ronald Wadhams and I am 4 months short of my 88th birthday and a resident in the home which is under investigation by your department and which was brought to light by Mrs Derelene James of the party ActionSA.

The reason for this message is to plead with you to please ,whomever is investigating the home,talk to a few residents because we are the "old people" who have no recourse to justice when we have to live in leaking bedrooms because a huge donation from a leading bank has never been used to repair the roofs,the food as suggested by a "dietitian" is not provided,the full old age grant taken away from all residents illegally, according to SASSA we should be getting between 10% and 25% but even the COVID-19 monies given by government were taken and when queried the former "managers" response was that they had the right to do so.
There are many problems both residents and the carer's face daily and that is why we hope and pray that this investigation does bring to light the many problems we face with donations and the nursing staff not being paid as they should be.

Please madam minister we hope and pray that you will do the necessary to make our lives better and for future residents who will end up in a home where nobody has any idea of all the problems or couldn't care.
