I would like assistance in regards as to the process that is used to select for the Re-enlistment of old police members. It has been 2 years applying and my application is rejected because of BMI. My argument in this matter is that SAPS sends all applicants to OCSA to be medically tested then a report comes back from OCSA informing the applicant of their medical abnormalities. I was rereferred to a dietician where a eating plan was issued by the dietician and I sent it to OCSA I was then told that my application is not approved because of my BMI. What is the point of referring us to dieticians if they wont give us a chance to see whilst on the eating plan that the BMI will decrease. Kindly assist in this matter.
