Darren,

It is not okay to openly support openly racists like Pretzer. But I note you have found it okay to endorse some of his views relating to the old video made by Daniel Friedman. As a public rep. I think I have a right to ask you the FF.

Do you believe that there's a white genocide in South Africa?
What do you think about the Afriforum? Do you support their ideological orientation in general? I notice many in your party seem to shy away from commenting much about the Afriforum and it's stated mission. Are they your choms?

What's your views on affirmative action? Is it a corrective process or reverse apartheid?

I think the voters deserve to know who you are.. don't you think Sir?

Hi Bongi

Thanks for this email. I do not support Petzer. I was whatsapped his video a few times and after watching it, I noticed the comments from other people that had viewed his video. I wrote a FB post aimed at those comments and re-affirming the stance of many Jewish people when it came to farm attacks.
1. I never judged Petzer or Friedman in the post.
2. I had not even seen Friedman's skit at that stage.
3. I therefore do not endorse any views of either person but I cringe terribly at the views of some of the commentators afterwards.

The question of whether I believe in a white genocide in SA is double barrelled. What you could ask me is do I believe that farm attacks are brutal and ongoing and do I believe they require a special focus. My answer to the farm attacks is yes. We should have the rural safety unit introduced immediately and protection afforded to all farmers and labourers of all race, gender or religion.

I do not have a hard set opinion on Afriforum to be honest. I have very little dealings with them if any in my line of duty. I have no problem with people protecting minorities provided their protection is not an infringement or attack on the rights of others and that the objective is to create peace and harmony.
