We are writting this on behalf of Health Care Givers from the Sekhukhune region employed by the department of health,they feel that the department does not value them as it has been years now without a salary increase which has been stagnant at R3,500.These workers also want the health department to absorb them and not just have them employed as contract workers whose contracts get renewed every year.They again raise the issue of not being paid the covid risk allowance despite being exposed to the risks on a daily basis.

We would really appreciate a response in this regard.
