Dear Bheki Hamilton Cele

Good morning Minister.

I am sending you this letter as a concerned citizen . I am staying in Pretoria, Montana and have just one humble request

Minister, my concern is this one. Why is is that the department of police is not hiring people from 40 -50 years . Are you aware that there are homes where a mother and a father are not working and have kids but unfortunately they can't be hired in the SAPS because of their age. Why is the age an issue? Are they not strong and fir enough? Do you think they will not be useful to this country? Those are the people your department needs. They are family men and women who will make sure that they provide their families and will work with honesty and integrity. 80 percent of the age your department is hiring are still single and enjoy life. Not all of them though. Most of them are still living a competitive lifestyle which end up leading them to involve themselves in corruption and other criminal activities. They end up forgetting who they are but chasing g after money. But people aged 40 -50 are family men and women who needs nothing but provision for their families. People who already know what they want. People who know clearly that if they involve themselves in corruption and criminal activities their families will suffer. They are paying school fees for their kids. Not using them for drinking and partying. My point here my minister is that I am making a humble request to your department to ammend the hiring policy and give people from 40-50 years of age a chance to serve this country with loyalty, excellence, integrity and total commitment.

Thanking you in advance minister
