I was a lecturer of ingwe tvet college, Ngqungqushe campus in Eastern cape.I made a notice of resignation of three months effect from January to end March 2025 with the hope of making smooth hand over and to give department enough time to submit the relevant documentation to the headquarters, but I was so surprised to find that a request of a document called debt clearance certificate (DCC) was submitted to head office on the 02/04/2025 and this is the document which is submitted with other documents to GEPF for pension payout. Ingwe tvet college Hr office tried so many times to make a follow but till now the document is no where to be found. I am on the third month now without any payment I.e. April, mey and June, as result my vehicle and house have been repossessed,my policies have lapsed and I have no funds to pay fees for kids and groceries, bear in mind the gepf is also going to take onother two months to process the payment. I am affected now mentally and physically, as a result anything can happen to my health because of what the department is doing to me and other six employees where their salaries were not adjusted after they upgraded their qualifications since 2015. Please minister we need your intervention now and we hope you will take this matter urgently as I am about to
loose everything I have now.Thank you.
