Dear Mr Nzimande

I hope this letter finds you well and that you are well in this challenging time with Covid-19. I also know that you are an extremely busy person, but as a parent I have to bring this to your attention.

My name is Marshall Malgas, parent of Jade Asante Taaybosch ID Nr 031021 00930 87. Grade 11. I did an online application for my child on the student portal last year September month for NCV Safety in Society, and was unable to upload the supporting documents as the system keeps shutting down upon uploading the documents. We went to the college when it opened in this year and was faced with loadshedding and couldn't be assisted. Only to go back when the system was back on to be told they were full and that we have to come back next year.

I really cannot accept this as I was already trying to get her in early enough from last year for this year. We cannot wait for next year as we did everything according to the system. Now we facing this challenge of my child not being able to school for another year as last year was already challenging for us with schooling.

Sir, you are a parent and know the importance of a child being in school. She has a dream of becoming an officer of the law which is much needed in our community which a crime infested area which is what drives her as she wants to be a beacon of hope for this community.

The reason I'm reaching your office is that the staff at Northlink College Parow Campus, where not very helpful and actually their way of dealing with people is not in line in what you strive to reach for in your department. You value higher education as atmost importance and I saw the work you've done in this department, They are rude, and no one is interested to help you.

I beg of you Sir, will you please help me with this matter as I know there must be a few complains already at your office from parents with this campus, with regards to how they treat people when visiting the campus. We did everything according to the system only to be failed of which I know is not your fault.

I would greatly appreciate it if you can assist us with regards to this matter. Systems where put in place to assist us with this Covid-19 pendemic which is all your great work to make things better for us. But if the people are not able to assist us, then we have no alternative to bring this to your attention.

I thank you for your time in reading this, and would appreciate any feedback on what we can do moving forward. I beg of you once again as a parent Sir help my child, her heart is in a good place and it always great joy to hear your child wants to study for the soul perpace of helping the community. Let us not fail her.

You definitely have my vote even if you don't know it, but you have done alot. I was able to get a bursary because of you years ago at Northlink doing boilermaking sir.
