REFERENCE: THE BELOW EMAIL REGARDING VBS vs ELIAS MOTSOALEDI LOCAL MUNICIPALITY!

The below email was intended to the Elias Motswaledi Local Municipality Special Council which was scheduled for 29/10/2019 08:00 we wanted this matter to serve in the council but there is no response and no one wants to take responsibility, the Management and PMT the didn't want the item to serve

We request the portfolio committee to respond on their behalf on what transpired because it seems like the council is ignoring the matter

Questions for written reply PMT Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality!

After the portfolio committee of COGHTA Chaired by Mme Faith Muthambi.

1. Since the was suspension former Municipal Manager how much costs has the council incurred?

2. Can the PMT explain what caused the delay and what are the financial implications of paying the lawyer chairing the seating of the suspended MM and the former MM being payed?

3. What would be there remedial action to recover the money that is wasted on this matter?

4. What was the recommendations and remedial action in terms of the portfolio committee Meeting of the 15th October chaired by Mme Faith Muthambi on the VBS matter?
