Dear Minister,

Congratulations on your appointment as Home Affairs Minister.

I'd like to bring to your attention my rectification application (REC2406852) which was submitted to VFS on the 15th of December. My study permit was successfully renewed but the start date was incorrect. So, I applied for rectification. It has been well over the maximum 10 week period stipulated and I still don't have the outcome. An official from DHA promised to follow up but did not get back since. It is five weeks into the semester and I was in line to complete my degree this semester at the University of the Western Cape. But as it is now I cannot travel to South Africa. My lecturer has said via email that if I can't come into the country by April then I would have forfeited the relevant course - which, by the way, I have paid for.

Kindly, please, intervene in this matter. I am counting you doing that to be able to complete my current degree at least.
