My name is Rebatho Mdlankomo "Lerona Rebatho) daughter of Ligwa Mdlankomo aka Zakes. I'm writing you so as to let you know of me and exactly what I need from you.
My father Ligwa Mdlankomo was born on 6 August 1956 in Port Elizabeth. He was a member of the ANC. He left South African and was exiled in Maseru Lesotho. On 9 December 1982, 2 days after I was born, he was murdered with 41 other people. They were killed in what today is known as the 1982 Maseru Massacre.
I am a qualified language practitioner and vetting investigator with a total number of 9 years experience. I have been unemployed since 2016 because I had a difficult choice to make. I had to choose between my mother's life and a career. I chose my mother as she is the only parent I have left. My mother suffers from severe depression which made me fear that she would end her life of she carried on living alone.
I have been applying for jobs in different government departments with no luck. I am writing to you seeking assistance as a child of 2 military veterans.
Last year your department advertised 5 language practitioner posts which I applied for. When I called I was told that the positions have not yet being filled. When I call again I do not get any response anymore.
I would be troubling you if you were not the only person who I think would assist me.
I am currently living with my mother and my 2 children. We are all financially dependent on my mother's pension money. Pls help in getting me a job which I qualify for.
