We as inmates at Bizzah makhathe medium A correctional centre hereby request the intervention of the political parties inside parliament regarding to our maltreatment by the ruling party.

It is true that we have made mistakes and we have hurt our community in many different ways and we are willing to do what is expected by the community and our families as well.

We are fathers with families out there and some of us does not even deserve to be here we are just being used by those who are in power and we had to pay for other people's sins.

Our grievances are as follows:

-we do not have clothes,food,shoes, bedding materials and etc.infact there is nothing here where we are and we are struggling with many things that is mentioned in the correctional services act and we are not allowed to bring our own things in as an alternative whilst the DCS made it clear to us that the government does not have money.
We are struggling even with food.

Transferes related matters

-Most of us come from disadvantaged families with no source of income.we spend years without visitors due to the fact that our loved ones could not make it to visit us financial wise.

When we request for transfers we are told by the management to split blood by means of sturbing other inmates to be considered for transfer,if you dont do that you will spend years requesting for transfer without help.

We therefore request the MPs to come inside this prison at Kroonstad and hear our complaints bcz the JICS that is supposed to assist us as inmates is turning its deaf ear and pretend as if they are trying to help.they are busy dating with high authorities of this Centre and they made it more difficult for us to talk to them about our current conditions.Mr Miles Budu is trying his best but the government is not listening to him.

Though we are inmates but we are still human beings and we deserve to be treated as such.we are not asking our government to release us from prison,but we request that we be treated as human beings.yes it is true that this place is not meant to be a hotel or comfort zone.but we request the government to stop killing us like animals by using correctional authorities to use their strategy to kill us like they do.our brothers are dying in prison in the hands of officials who are suppose to protect them and pretend as if there is nothing happened.please!!!STOP killing us like this.
