Dear Dr Mkhize
In view of the critical condition we find ourselves in with Covid it seems that the Department of Health is not taking this seriously.
I went for a test at the public hospital in Atlantis today (arrived at 16h00) and was told they can't help me. Noting that I feel extremely bad and convinced of my test results to be positive. Neither of the healthcare workers wanted to give their names to me. After insisting to be attended to the lady in the Department of Health combi/van told me she will help and I must go sit inside. After about 15minutes I heard the vehicle speeding off in a haste. Is THIS how we approach the Covid pandemic and is this the level of assistance we can expect from healthcare workers? I am extremely upset and as I am not young anymore, the concern is who will actually assist. I can not leave this here and must insist that those healthcare workers are brought to book and be reprimanded accordingly!! This is unacceptable in ANY terms to say the least!!!
