Dear Minister,
I hope this message finds you well.
My name is Tanswell Mutaaz Aspeling, a young coloured entrepreneur and educator from Grassy Park, Cape Town. Three years ago, I took a leap of faith and launched a school in our community, driven by a vision to provide quality education within the areas where it is most needed.
Despite many challenges and the financial burden of self-funding, by God’s grace, the school has grown into something truly meaningful. However, navigating the system to access support has proven difficult, with significant red tape and limited assistance — something I feel is a common struggle for people of colour trying to uplift their communities.
We are currently in the process of acquiring a building to meet registration requirements, and this is where I humbly seek your assistance. Our communities deserve quality private schooling options within their own areas — families should not have to send their children far away to access quality education.
Minister, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet with you or your office to discuss our school, our needs, and how your support could help take this mission forward for the benefit of our youth and our community.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to the possibility of engaging with you further.
Warm regards,
Tanswell Mutaaz Aspeling
