My Chief I hope this finds you well.My date of birth was captured incorrectly by home affairs subsequently my academic qualifications does not correspond to my ID. I have been battling to get corrected. This was done and finalised. Now I have been issued with a new birth certificate and I'd. I applied for a confirmation letter since January 2018 and was told it will take 6-8 weeks. Up until now I still do not have my confirmation letter. I called the call centre on numerous occasions with cases opened and closed and false promises that they will attend to this matter. I even went to the general manager in home affairs nelspruit who called theme but still nothing has been done. I am stuck between 2 identities with no confirmation letter. I am now going to approach every media and tell my ordeal to the whole world in an attempt for help
